Nobu Newport Beach
Nobu’s first Orange County restaurant, two stories on the water at Lido Marina Village.

Nobu opened at Lido Marina Village in 2017, the first Orange County restaurant for the group founded by chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert De Niro. The village credits it with helping draw the other shops and restaurants that followed.
The building is big, more than 16,000 square feet over two floors, with covered patios on both levels looking over the harbor. You can walk in from the village street or step off a boat on the harbor side.
First time? The chef suggests sharing a few of the “Eight Highlights” family style. The classics include Black Cod Miso, Yellowtail Jalapeño, and Rock Shrimp Tempura.
