Harborside is inside the Balboa Pavilion, built in 1906 as a boathouse, bathhouse, and pavilion in the Queen Anne Revival style. It’s one of the last turn-of-the-century waterfront pavilions left in California, a state historical landmark, and on the National Register of Historic Places.
The restaurant keeps things relaxed: fresh seafood, steaks, local favorites, and a value-minded list of California wines. The saloon has harbor views and the game on.
The Pavilion is also where harbor cruises, whale watching, sport fishing, and the Catalina Flyer leave from, and the Fun Zone and the Balboa Island ferry are steps away.
